M&M Insurance donates $5,000 every year to the Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Education Scholarship Program. Dawn was the principal of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut. On December 14, 2012 she and twenty-five others were victims of one of the nation's most tragic school shootings. This annual scholarship was created in her honor and to commemorate her love of education.
